The CAN-bus hookup to my NMEA 2000 network was surprisingly painless, and now I can see engine data right on the same screen as my radio presets. Weather band reception is crystal clear even down in the marina, which is exactly what I needed for this season.
The 2.7-inch display is sharp enough to read the station info from across the cockpit, even in direct sun. Hooked it up to my existing NMEA 2000 system and the CAN-bus integration was way more straightforward than I expected, and the weather band picks up clearer than my old dedicated unit.
The CAN-bus hookup to my NMEA 2000 network was seamless, and now engine data shows right on the 2.7" screen alongside the radio. Weather band picks up clear even down in the cockpit, which is a lifesaver. Still figuring out a few menu layers, but the multi-zone control makes it worth it.
