The platinum plating on the contact points feels like serious overkill for the price, but it gave me peace of mind when I finally swapped out my old corroded holder. The cover pops off cleanly with a flathead, and the 4 AWG cable seated snug without any wrestling.
The removable top is a nice touch — popped it off with a flathead and the fuse was sitting right there, no wrestling with the housing. Feels solidly built, and the platinum plating gives it a clean look under the hood.
Took about two minutes to swap in my new MAXI fuse with a flathead, and the platinum plating on the body feels noticeably more solid than the cheap plastic holders I've used before. That removable top cover clicks back on tight, no rattling even on rough roads.
