The 5-inch TFT screen is seriously bright, even out on the water in direct sun I could read the track info clearly. Hookup was straightforward once I matched the wiring to the hideaway unit, and having all the controls on the dash instead of hunting for a receiver is a game changer for my setup.
The 5-inch TFT screen is genuinely bright even in direct sunlight, which made it easy to read while I was out on the water. Setup was straightforward since it just wires into the hideaway unit, and now all the receiver's functions are right at my fingertips.
The wired connection to the hideaway receiver was a breeze to set up, and the 5" TFT screen stays crystal clear even with sun glare hitting it directly. I've had it mounted for three weeks now and every function from the receiver responds instantly on the display.
